A New Member Class has been scheduled for Saturday, January 17 from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. in Room 208. Come and meet with Pastor Scott McLaughlin and other staff members and learn what Vision of Glory is all about and how you can be a part of this ministry!
forma- To become a model or example of something. We believe that church is more than a Sunday morning church service. Church is a communion of people where the process of forming humanity to the person and event of Christ is begun. Church is a community of believers who do not merely listen, but listen with a view to acting on what they hear, and thereby becoming, together, a living example of Christ and the transforming power of the Gospel. If you are interested in joining this practice of church at Vision of Glory, please attend this class and become a member of VOG!! |

Wanted: New Council Members |
Have you ever thought about serving on the church council? Do you know anyone who would make a good council member? The nominating committee has begun meeting to nominate members for the ballot to fill two open council positions at the 2009 annual meeting. Constitutionally, we need a minimum of three names to bring to the congregation to vote upon. The nominating committee is interested in hearing from members who feel led to propose themselves or others as candidates. If you would like to nominate someone other than yourself, please discuss it with the candidate before putting their name forward. |
